Comment #16 on issue 2763 by [email protected]: Fix the SymPy Logo
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=2763

I increased the Transparency to -2% per pixel, it now looks a lot more like the original logo on a white background. I made a large image with the logo on different backgrounds and used Photobucket to make something alike the dummy webpage you were looking for : http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z444/C_Arkantos/Google%20Code-In/SymPyLogo-500x500-ColourPatches.png

I trimmed around the original image to remove the anti-aliasing which makes a white/grey outline around the Snake so that it did not look out of place on a Red background for example

Also, here is a dummy webpage with the logo on different coloured backgrounds WITHOUT Transparency : http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z444/C_Arkantos/Google%20Code-In/SymPyLogo-500x500-ColourPatchesWithoutTransparency.png

Unfortunately by the looks of it your in a different timezone to me and because of that we cannot speak again before my deadline is reached and the task is automatically unaccepted so I can't really get anymore criticisms before I HAVE to submit my work, however I really wish to make the SymPy logo the best it can be with the current design as I have seen you discussing problems with the Font of SymPy not matching the Main font, so if possible could I have an extension to this tasks time limit or possibly another task once I have finished this one? I would be most appreciative :)
