Comment #21 on issue 2763 by [email protected]: Fix the SymPy Logo http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=2763
I searched for a Claredon font and I found it, you can download it for free here : http://www.font-zone.com/download_start.php?fid=2331
I grabbed the vector on git and changed the text to Claredon, see if it's what your looking for : http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z444/C_Arkantos/SymPyVector.png
As far as the Favicon goes, I have no idea how do activate it for your homepage as I have never tried to do it before, however I can make a copy of your webpage as a mock and simply paste over the default Favicon to show you what it would look like as I have done here :-
- Snake Without Tail : http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z444/C_Arkantos/MockWebsiteWithoutTail.png - Smaller Logo : http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z444/C_Arkantos/MockWebsiteWithTail.png
I personally believe we should choose the logo without the tail as because the image is made more square, we can have it bigger and therefore of a higher quality so that it is more easily recognizable as the SymPy Python, but it's obviously your choice :)
