Thanks for the extension, I was really worried about having to rush to finish the task :)
Don't worry. So long as you demonstrate that you are actively working on a task, we will gladly extend the time limit for you. It is just there so that someone cannot grab a task and sit on it without doing any work.
The problem with the font is that the SVG image from that link above (https://github.com/certik/oscas-sympy/pull/6) has the wrong font. It should be some Clarendon font (I believe, you'll have to verify this). Otherwise, as far as I can tell, it is a good SVG version of the logo.
