OK, the issue is that the class registry stuff still needs to go on Basic
(at least until we can get it removed). It is used by sympify to detect
what classes are SymPy classes. So you'll need to split the metaclasses up.
Let me know if you need me to investigate some further problem (and ping me
if I seem to be ignoring you; I'm behind on email and some stuff slips
through the cracks).
