I'm a little confused. ManagedProperties both has BasicMeta as its
metaclass *and* subclasses from it.
Also, I think you are using with_metaclass wrong. It should be
class Class(with_metaclass(Metaclass, Base1, Base2, ...)):
...
But there must be more going on too, as I changed both of these things and
I still get the error.
