It must be something that we are doing with the classes. I tried
replicating the exact class structure with empty classes, and it works. See
http://nbviewer.ipython.org/gist/asmeurer/7836271. I also replaced the
SymPy with_meatclass with metaclass= and it still doesn't work, so that's
not the issue.
