Coolio. Any chance you could shove your python you've written up somewhere? How much have you implemented? Looking at the PHP, it doesn't look as if it'd take too long to sort that out. > And Gentoo needs its ebuilds. Gentoo and Ubuntu are getting the most > users in #synce right now. Oops, I forgot about Gentoo. Well, Debian(/Ubuntu) and Gentoo are the best prepared already though. We'd need some Fedora/openSUSE packagers to help out. I hear openSUSE has packaging days, or something like that.. > Right. The unlocking of password protected ness. Oh I see. The thing is, with WM6 the password is prompted for on the device, and not the computer. It then sends an "authenticated", or "not authenticated" signal. This obviously makes it impossible to store the password, but that's really not our problem. I saw some API discussion of gnome-keyring on d-d-l recently. It looks like a tremendously easy task to achieve! > > So you think we should stop releasing specific WM2003 modules too > > (synce-serial)? > > I was proposing we pray to jagow for sync-engine/2003 goodness... Ah okay, that's cool! Well, when/if he has time/the will! :-) Regards, -- Jonny Lamb, UK [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://jonnylamb.com GPG: 0x2E039402
