Hmm. Interesting. I had assumed SyncEvolution would be available on Harmattan. Thus, I figured I had no reason to apply for a N950 myself (I didn't have any other concrete and convincing plans for it). I understand the N950 is relatively fragile, and if I can't safely take it with me everywhere, it probably wouldn't really be useful to me anyway. I decided to just wait and buy the N9 when it comes out, and then just do my development once I get one of those. Perhaps I would have applied for a N950 if I had known that SyncEvolution wasn't already on Harmattan. > Are there plans to support Harmattan? I suppose you might have to wait until I get a N9 - unless someone else does it first. (Or, I suppose, someone gives me their N950, but I won't be holding my breath waiting for that.) > Or is it just a matter of proper installation or compiling the package? I'm not sure. I took a look at some Harmattan docs, and it seems that calendar-backend may have been replaced with "mkcal". Perhaps SyncEvolution's existing kcalextended backend would work with mkcal. For contacts, I suspect they now use qtcontacts instead of ebook, so perhaps SyncEvolution's qtcontacts backend would also work. _______________________________________________ SyncEvolution mailing list [email protected] http://lists.syncevolution.org/listinfo/syncevolution
