That sounds like Nokia did not include support for SyncML servers. So
the situation is exactly as in the N900.

Sorry, no. Nokia has thoroughly destroyed my personal motivation to work
for their devices.

It won't be hard to get SyncEvolution working on Harmattan, as long as
you know how to compile software for it. SyncEvolution isn't special.

Once you can run "configure & make", make sure that your have the
QtContacts and mKCal development files installed, plus the development
files mentioned in the HACKING document. Ignore the parts about GTK UI
and Evolution and, initially, anything related to D-Bus. Then configure
with "--disable-ebook --disable-ecal --enable-qtcontacts
--enable-kcalextended". Make and install.

Once you have it compiled, follow the normal "getting started"
instructions. It'll pick the right backends automatically.
