Uwe,

I have been using sendmail for 14 years, and the only mail I have lost 
has been email I sent to the bit-bucket using procmail as a local mailer.

Back on 18 January, John Beck from Sun wrote you a nice reply (posted at 
the bottom of this message), offering help and requesting more details.

I have not seen those details on this list.  Did you share those details 
privately?

If not, why not post some configurations and other details of your 
environment so list members can help.
