Actually, I'm all *for* RFC 3339 timestamps. I personally have never
seen a case where I actually cared or needed to match timestamps to
closer than 1 second.
And if my suggestion is non-compliant with 3339, then consider it
withdrawn, with extreme prejudice :-) Using RFC 3339 is much more
important to the standardization effort.
Now, having all the clocks sync'ed, I'm willing to fight for :-) but
that's obviously beyond the scope of this.
