got the new mac home... boy is it a surprise. Came with a ton more stuff than he claimed on ebay... more than 3x the ram and it had OS 9.1 on it. Came loaded with software including Photoshop 5 (if only it were 5.5) illustrator 6, Office 98 Apple Works 5 Quickbooks Pro, Quark XPress. OS 9 and QT and IE were all up to date so I assume it was just recently decomissioned. Wow I am happy with that $7.00 + 5 gallons of gas.... so like $12..... but that was at around 43mpg. I got lost more than once on the way there.
BUT I downloaded those System 6 Boot Disks.... opened Disk copy did a make floppy command. Selected the image.... put in the flopppy.... it chugs and chugs and chugs, but then at the end it gives me error 74. I have not yet tried them in the Mac II.... but what does error 74 mean?
