Sorry, Jeff... Didn't see that post from you today. Well, if you could do the transfer at 230kbps, it would be outstanding, but as far as I know the limit is a "max" of 128kbps. But I would not be surprised if the actual value was only 56kbps.
I ran up against this issue when connecting my Newton 2100 via serial to my SE/30. I had to apply a hack to NCU to get it to connect at even 56kbps. There is other software to hack the OS to allow 128kbps, but sadly, NCU will not work at that high speed. So again, I think the actual serial transfer speed on the Plus is very slow.
