I studied the TOGO coverage map at t-mobile.com I compared it to a brochure I have dated 10/2005. You can see some improvements, for example, between Santa Fe and Denver, SE Missouri and Arkansas, and the huge former gap of North and South Carolina. No change however to my state, Minnesota :-\ In the accompanying text, it states that, basically, standard rates will apply.
There is one curiosity on the map. If you zoom in, say, on the Arkansas / Missouri area, from the map legend you can see that some of the "roaming" is "850 MHz Roaming Coverage" and some is "T-Mobile USA Roaming Coverage." On the map page are two links; "What is 850 roaming?" and "Learn more about our expanded prepaid coverage." Both of these links unambiguously state, "Currently 850MHz roaming is not available for T-Mobile To Go customers." So why do they show it on a To Go map? ------------------------ Yahoo!
