The only thing I can think that I have done wrong is to get the S and Z > warping the wrong way around. First, bravo for trying it, and actually making a band! :) Getting the S & Z threading backward would make the band come out upside down, and that's an extremely common problem. I still do it sometimes. If you aren't absolutely positive about the S & Z thing, there's a longer explanation at http://www.stringpage.com/tw/threading.html and some easy beginner patterns at http://www.stringpage.com/tw/basictw.html The other possibility is that you threaded the ABCD holes in the opposite order that I use. There's no real consistency on that among either authors or card manufacturers (although since you made your own, that shouldn't be a problem.) In my world, A is the top hole closer to you D is the top hole farther from you so looked at from the right A D B C Going around the other way would give you an upside-down band too. Hope that helps! In mostly-unrelated news, Google seems to have completely lost my web page! Once upon a time I was in the top 3 hits for "tablet weaving", now searching even for "Phiala's String Page" finds only pages with links to me, and won't return my page at all! How very frustrating! A search does find the old page, which sends people to the new page, but still... Subject searches don't find it anymore.
