<We know it has a past, but does
tablet weaving have a future?>
Hi Ellen,
I certainly hope so. I just
arrived home from a three hour drive to give a talk and demonstration
on tablet weaving. These ladies for the most part are very
experienced loom weavers but have never tried working with cards. I brought lots
of 'show and tell' and they loved it. I have been invited back to do a workshop
with them. One woman brought her two boys, hopefully she will teach them also.
Next week I am demonstrating tablet weaving to the grade 3 classes of our local
school. I know from past experience, they will love it too. There IS still hope
for the future.
Cheers,
Judy
