(ie. the file I downloaded today is exactly the same as the file I
downloaded on the 22nd.)

If you want I am happy to look at your upload script/s to work out where
things are going amiss.

How do you display the created date which is displayed for the files on the
site? I'm guessing it's set by the upload script? Perhaps it could check the
actual created date for the file?
