It is also easy to forget that the experience for new users is different from 
existing users of the mailing list:
* It took me a couple tries to post my message, as I needed to subscribe to the 
list and the email with the link to confirm the subscription went to my spam 
folder in Gmail
* I would also not be able to search the archived messages, as I have not 
received them…

I am ultimately not making any decisions here, but wanted to test the mailing 
list experience, and give you a heads up :)

It looks like active communities like e.g., talk-gb and talk-au will be 
migrated, while others will be archived:
