I'd also like to raise the same concern for construction and planned. These are modifiers that significantly change the meaning, thus if you really need them, you need to look for the indirection, otherwise routing engines, for example, will still route over them. Then when OSM starts getting used in GPSs, and you get all those stories of....... We certainly don't want that.
