I am not sure I understand your question correctly. So maybe this is the
wrong answer:
The plan is to automatically add
line=something
to all existing relations tagged with
route=whatever
This can be done automatically as only information is added and all
existing applications will still work.
Sebastian: Maybe you can elaborate on that a bit. The Wiki page is
rather terse in that.
