Hi Steve,

Thanks again for your help. No signiatures of any kind. It is happening and did happen before. Gwmicro were aware of it back then. That was probably about 4 years ago or close to it. It is as if whatever I copied to the clip board suddenly appears in the body of the mail. Without using the copy and paste controls.

I will call AI squared on www.nhs.uk/ehic. Monday and try to speak with someone there. I'm sure the guys name was Steven, who gave me information before about it. He told me about the extranious chatter.

Your help is very much appreciated and hopefully an answer can be found. Perhaps a change of email client might do the job.

Live long and prosper, John

BJ,

Window-Eyes has had a problem where text that was copied into the clipboard was then randomly spoken, but I am not aware of clipboard text being pasted into a document randomly by Window-Eyes. I don't know what else to suggest besides checking to be sure that nothing unwanted is in a signature. Is there any chance your email host inserts information as some do? Windows Live also has the ability to let you insert pictures by inserting links rather than attaching large picture files. I wonder if there is something happening that is causing the link to be added? Sorry, I just don't know but have not had any particular problem with Windows Live Mail such as you are describing.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the advice. I regularly ensure there are no viruses on my
computer by using a mellware and virus program. In fact a few spyware
programs as well. I was reminded by my friend Rod a member of the
window-eyes list that www.nhs.uk/ehic. I had this problem before and that
triggered another few similar incident's a few years ago on another laptop.

You can see in this email a link to an nhs web site. I have never been to an
NHS web site for months, yet that link is there in this email and I didn't
put it there. The same link was also in the last email I sent to a friend. I
deleted it before I sent it to my friend. It isn't even a link I have used
or been to.

In fact I apologise, I just reckognised the link. I copied it from a letter
I scanned into Kurtzweil. I copied the link to the clip board and haven't
yet pasted it into my browser.

Now the problem seems to be connected with the clip board.

Any idea Steve how the clip board is connected with windos live mail? Or is
this still the extraniopus chatter that happened some years ago. I can't
remember what gwmicro told me to do to get rid of it then.

I think perhaps I could give Ai squared a call on Monday and find out what
advice they gave me back then, or rather the gwmicro staff gave me.

I have also used Windows Live Mail for certain accounts for several years
and have not had this problem, either. I
would say, though, that Windows Live Mail, like Outlook, can get mail from
Microsoft email sites using a Microsoft
protocol that access folders on that site directly. It is a little like
IMAP. Therefore, if something has gotten
corrupted on one's LIVE.COM, OUTLOOK.COM, or HOTMAIL.COM site, the problem
may be there and not specifically with
Windows Live Mail. I would also be very careful to be sure that one has
not accidentally created, for example,
stationery or a signature file with information that is not intended to be
there. There could be a picture, for
example, that is large that could be seen as an attachment. Of course, it
goes without saying that perhaps a full
malware and virus scan should be run just in case.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

Hi John,
WLM seems to have quite a few issues, including I believe some security
issues. Sometimes in WLM window eyes will read a message or at least the
subject and sender, that I deleted several days ago. I've ran disk
cleanup,
scaned with AVG, Deleted everything out of my folders and even uninstalled and then went and downloaded WLM again and reinstalled it to find only the
same thing happening...

Dear List,

I have a major email problem and unsure where the exact answer lies.

I sent an email to a friend yesterday and somehow within the email was an
exact copy of a reciept from Amazon, sent to me on the 31st January. It
was
situated after my email to my friend and followed by emails to my friend
running in that normal sequence.

I've also had problems regarding trying to send emails. Often when I am
either uploading or downloading and I try to send an email. I get an error
message saying the message cannot be sent as the file attachment is too
large. I haven't added a file attachment. Yesterday I got another error
message saying I had not enough memory to send an email. Once my upload
had
finished I was able to send an email no problem.

The situation is a little worrying as my private address and personal
details might be sent to anyone, not just friends.

I'm certain this is not a window-eyes problem. Has anyone any idea what
the
problem might be?

It just doesn't make any sense.

Similarly, on the guardian newspaper web site, I hear references to my
google search of months ago. Not recent searches. This is certainly wierd.
I know that at one point I was informed by gwmicro that this extranious
chatter was caused when I copied and pasted some web content to a word
document.

I haven't done that in the past 4 months.

If anyone can give me any idea's as to why these things are happening, It
would be very much appreciated.

Live long and prosper, John
