The other thing about the dec-talk voice is that it's the louder of all the
voices, from what I can tell. Pam.

I have very few problems, and on the rare occasion where I do get such a
problem, the restart window-eyes key usually works to sort it.
using n i7 machine, 16gb ram, running win7 ultimate 64bit. I tend to stick
with the dectalk voice, as it is one I have got very used to over the years.
it serves it's purpose, and doesn't use up too much memory, as I do a fair
bit of audio and video editing, so would rather the machines recourses were
used on that.

Subject: 9.1 Locking up and Speech Stopping?
Hello,
To those of you that are having Lock Ups and Speech dropping when
using Win Eyes 9.1, I am curious to see how much RAM Memory your
system has to work with? And what voice Synthesizer are you using?
I have 6GB of Memory, but am using one of the Premium voices that
Window Eyes sells, which uses more memory than some of the other voices.
I at times have no problems, and then other times, nothing but
problems. Am starting to wonder if it has anything to do with Memory.
