Hi Gayle,

If you focus the icon called Computer on your desktop, and press Alt-Enter,
and read the entire dialog with Control-Shift-W, you'll hear how much memory
you have.

Hth,

Rod

Subject: speech loss and crashing

Hi, I don't write to the list often, However, I have the same type of speech
loss and crashing problems. I have Windows Vista and WE 8.4. I'm not sure
how much ram I have. The speech loss and crashing happens in the early
morning and sometimes with word 2010. Most of the time doing control alt w
brings it back. However, sometimes I have to do a hard reset. Sometimes even
rebooting doesn't bring speech back. Is there any way to solve this problem?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks much in advance. Gayle
