that depends on how you set it up.
if you do not give them your password on a home network they won't be able to access your computer or files. with guest access a password would not be required but they would not have access to your computer programs or settings. only access to the internet and maybe to the public folders on your computer.

From what I read, That is a legitimate feature.
The idea is that if you have a friend or relative who wants to log on
to his/her device using your wi-fi connection, that person doesn't
have to ask you for your password.
That scares me because of the security risk.

As muc;h as we use our PC for watching videos, hulu, WWE network, you tube,
etc. By next spring it will be time to replace the pc anyway so, Ib&#0;ll
probally wait till then to move to windows 10, by that time at least the
major buggs should be fixed. LOL.
