Oh well, I just hit the download and go one and watch tv, or hulu and at somepoint it gets done. LOL If it taking 10 minutes to download a free book for my reading pleasure is the worst thing I have to complain about!!! I believe I'm in prety good shape...LMAO

I'v seen it where I'll start a download of a book and can watch the download counter and it will say 5 percent, and what seems like ten minutes later ten percent and all of a sudden it'll go faster and get to around 70 percent and then here the download complete sound. I have had better luck around midnight to 2 in the morning. It just depends. I would guess it would cost the government some big bucks to truly beef up the system to where people would get consistantly good download speeds. But then what do I know! LOL!

Using I.E. 11 and having the same issue. Got three books and the fourth got hung up at 56%. Probably just a temporary glitch.

Subject: Bard Question

Yesterday, I could download a book from the Bard site, in about a minute or less. Today it took over ten minutes. Using Firefox and W.E. 9.2. Any ideas why? I went to I.E., but couldn't figure how to watch the percentage, as there wasn't any indication of time or percent.
