I had the same problem recently and it was my internet connection bogging
down with too many users!
as to tracking downloads go to tools alt t and down arrow to view tracking
or something like that click it then tab up it will show the book being
downloaded and tell the track info!

Yesterday, I could download a book from the Bard site, in about a minute
or less. Today it took over ten minutes. Using Firefox and W.E. 9.2.
Any ideas why? I went to I.E., but couldn't figure how to watch the
percentage, as there wasn't any indication of time or percent.
