Hi: Happens here on my Windows 8.1 machine with WE 9.2 and IE 11.
The symptoms are losing speech, losing the up and down arrow keys and
usually the tabbing keys and sometimes the alt-tab function.
Sometimes the ctl-alt-w keys will bring it back but often only partially.
Sometimes firing up narrator and moving around the web page by tabbing will
then have WE start speaking again but often without the use of the up and
down arrow keys and it is likely to fail again unless I exit and ReStart IE
and sometimes the machine itself.
Sometimes firing up jaws will work to help WindowEyes come back, note that
jaws still reads things correctly so the pages are there, and sometimes just
refreshing the page might help but not usually.
I have noticed that often when I do manage to get speech back the cursor or
whatever is around an input or active control on the page like a search box
or one of those menu bars with various control options and sometimes if I
get away from them quickly I can avoid the problem, sometimes not so this is
not a solid idea but has been the case often enough to indicate a possible
point of the problem source.
Another problem I have, had allot with another browser, firefox, was that WE
was having all kinds of problems with flash objects crashing firefox. It got
so bad I dumped firefox and just live with all the IE speech problems in
WindowEyes.
The thing here is that while I am not getting major page messages from
firefox that it has crashed due to the flash problems these pages likely
still use flash in Internet Explorer so may be another source of WE Problems
- don't know.
Good luck:
Rick USA

I too am running the latest version of window eyes on a Windows 7 PC
64-bit with IE 11. I have had so many crashes since updating to the latest
version of window eyes. Today I lost speech totally. I couldn't get speech
back and I had to force a hard shutdown. I don't know what is going on with
window eyes.

losses of speech with WE 9.2 versus 9.1. Control alt W brings speech back
