Hi. When I first went to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1, I didn't have the startup sound for Windows. I went into the Sounds setting to make sure it was checked, and it was. I don't know what happened, but on my PC, a few days later the sound started working. Go figure. The only thing I can think of that happened is there was an update to Windows 10.
