This is normal. You won't get the window-eyes shut down sound when shutting the computer down as the computer shuts off before Window-eyes can play the shutdown sound. Sometimes though Windows will focus the secure desktop. In this situation Window-eyes loads and you may hear the Window-eyes start up sound but the computer shuts off fast enough where Window-eyes may not talk. Chris
