i can use version 38 for a full year from its release and still get all the
security patches without haveing to fight the upgrades every 6 weeks.

It is not the fault of gw. Software makers have removed this ability in
some programs. As for using an old version of firefox; you are taking a

It might be that you are using the WindowEyes cursor instead of the mouse
cursor. Try clicking the minus sign on the numeric keypad and see if that
makes a difference Also, I understand that Windows 8 and Windows 10 make it
harder to implement the mouse cursor functionality as part of increasing
security and efficiency..
