Here's how to put "This PC" on your desktop. From the desktop press Control-Space to have nothing selected. Press the Application key or Shift-F10 to open the context menu. Activate Personalize. R is the shortcut. Tab to the list box which should be on "Background" at the top. Arrow down to Themes and press ENTER. Tab to the Desktop Icon Settings link and press ENTER. Tab to Desktop Icons Computer check box and press Space Bar to check it. Tab to OK and ENTER, then Home and Enter. Alt-F4 to close Settings. "This PC" should now be on your desktop.
