Maybe it depends on the person's environment under Windows 8 and 10? As I am
running a 64-bit version of Windows 10 on my 17 inch Asus, I'll try Firefox
at least and see what happens.

Hi Rick,
That is a real shame that the modifications to Firefox and Thunderbird don't
work under W10.  It now appears that W7 users, both 32 and 64 bit,are the
only ones to benefit because W8 is not improved either.

I am now having second thoughts about moving up to W10 prior to the
deadline.
