Hi Larry, You're experience is consistent and makes perfect sense as far as what Is supposed to happen, that is, the last character which is selected is and should be the character which is currently focused. So, if you want the entire word to be included in the block of text, then you must arrow right so that the last character in the word is focused before you press F8 for the second time.
