Hi, Rod,
I also was wondering if Aaron Smith was still around.

A few weeks ago i sent Aaron a message regarding a long standing bug in WE but did not receive a reply. Going on previous emails, this is very much unlike Aaron so was wondering if he was still around.

The bug, which has been around for a few releases,is where the reading of columns and headers can not be permantly turned off in the WE Control Panel.

Cheers
Neville.

Hi Mike:

I think it depends on which features of Window-eyes, if any, they
incorporate into JAWS.

Gentlemen, it all comes down to this, capitalistic propaganda. The more
pricy stuff gets, the more money comes out of our pockets, and goes into
the
company's. Yes I understand that they are trying to run a business, but
there has to be a balance somewhere. Like many of you, I've been a loyal
Window-Eyes user for years, and if they ever got rid of it, I'd switch to
NVDA. Jaws is ridiculously expensive. Most of the staff at ACB Radio use
Jaws, so whenever I get remote tech assistance from them, I'll often fire
up
the demo version of Jaws, which offers the remote assistance feature, and
it's what they're used to using. I could be wrong, but Trying to
incorporate
Window-Eyes into Jaws to me, sounds like some sneaky way to try to get
everybody to switch over to Jaws.
