Look at it this way, buying a APH Orbet Reader 20 display and a ios or
android device will save you a lot of money over buying a Notetaker. Many
blind people can't afford $5000 for a Notetaker!

From what people have posted on various lists that I belong to, I
understand that using braille on an Apple device would be a challenge.
This is because everything is translated into grade 2 instantly so if
you don't write fast enough, your text will be garbled. People who
prefer braille will still have to use either a braille notetaker or a
braille display to read and write braille with an Apple device.
I not only object to touch screens, I also object to using complicated
Apple and Android devices.
If you like your I device, that's fine, but don't force me to buy one.
