Where in settings do you change this message threading?

Hi, I usually turn off html composing, set messages to open in a new
tab, and disable the start screen from Thunderbird. Beyond that, most
other settings should be fine and totally user preference. Oh, and of
course with the recent versions of software, turning message threads.
One last thing, you might want to turn off the preview pane, toggled
with F8 or from the View/Layout menu.
Good luck.

Thank you Raul for that info.
Are there any TB settings that will make Jaws and TB use as optimal as
possible?
thanks,

Hello, the part about jaws not reading message headers in Thunderbird
if you are not in threaded view seems to be something recent. I don't
know if it is a jaws bug or if it is something which recently changed
in Thunderbird 52. So for now changing it to thread view is the only
way I have found. I understand you don't like to read messages in a
thread. I don't either for all mailboxes so I understand the
frustration. In the meantime however, if you are in a message list
and you set it for threads, press the star key, which is shift number
eight and it will expand all the threads allowing you to see each
message individually.

Hello List,
I'm trying to transition to Jaws starting with emailing which I am
getting a lot of experience on lately.
I find with Jaws I have to view messages as threaded which I don't
like. Is there a way to read messages as unthreaded. Jaws doesn't
seem to read the titles unless threaded. Hoping there is a setting
to be changed.
I like the way Window-eyes works with Thunderbird much better,
hoping this issue in jaws will be fixed.
Thanks,
Brenda
