Hello. How do I turn off HTML composing? I found the tab, but can't
seem to find where I can turn it off.
Also, how do I tell Thunderbird to delete all read messages after a
certain amount of time? Can't seem to find that option, either. Thanks

other settings should be fine and totally user preference. Oh, and of
course with the recent versions of software, turning message threads.
One last thing, you might want to turn off the preview pane, toggled
with F8 or from the View/Layout menu.

view is the only way I have found. I understand you don't like to
read messages in a thread. I don't either for all mailboxes so I
understand the frustration. In the meantime however, if you are in a
message list and you set it for threads, press the star key, which
is shift number eight and it will expand all the threads allowing
you to see each message individually.

I find with Jaws I have to view messages as threaded which I don't
like. Is there a way to read messages as unthreaded. Jaws doesn't
seem to read the titles unless threaded. Hoping there is a setting

I like the way Window-eyes works with Thunderbird much better,
