Hi Nick, I'm not willing to go out on a limb and say the sticky insert key mode is better than using the laptop layout which makes the caps lock the jaws key. For me, right now, the sticky insert key seems the easiest way to leave everything alone, including the desktop layout, while getting used to using jaws.
