You certainly can use both insert keys as well as the caps lock key. You have everything you have in desktop layout, plus the caps lock, and a lot of extra commands that are much easier to do from the keyboard. Have a great one. David Moore Sent from Mail for Windows 10

Yes, you are using the laptop layout. No, you can not use the insert keys as modifiers. I presume they will still work as insert-typeover toggles. The keypad can still be used, but you use the capslock key instead of the insert key to get the same keystrokes. If you do a lot with numbers, turning the numlock on for the keypad will give you access to numbers without having to use the number row. Turning it off allows access to mouse click keys. I benefit from this because I an not a very good numeral inputter, grin.
