Robin, I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but I do not think CONTROL PGDN works if you have specified that the entire document be loaded into the Virtual Cursor buffer. Mostly, I find it easiest to have an entire document loaded at once even if it takes a while, but I change the option to only load a page at a time if I am going to need to pay attention to the page structure. I have also found this to be true if I need to print a certain page as well. This option is in the dialog that comes up when you open a document. As mentioned elsewhere, it is also in the reading options dialogs as well.
