Hi Tom and others in this thread:
Sorry I am so late in posting about this, but I have been out of town on
vacation.
Interesting that several of you are having trouble, but I have always had
good success with the Adobe reader. I'm using the DC version with
Window-Eyes 9.5.4.0..
Usually, unless the pdf is very short, I've noticed, when you hit enter on
a pdf to have it open the reader, there is a window that comes up, because
it detects that assistive technology is on your system. It is there that
you can choose to read the visible pages or the whole document. I have
almost always read the visible pages, which work well for me with the
Control-Down Arrow to move down the document page by page or Control-Up
Arrow to move up the document page by page. . I never adjusted settings, so
I don't know why others don't have good success paging through documents.
I just checked how I had my settings in View, page display. The two things
I have checked, which must be the defaults, because I don't think I ever
changed anything there are, single page, and show gaps in pages. I don't
know if I gave helpful information, but I hope so.

I don't know where that setting is because I haven't used Acrobat in quite
a while.
Good luck,

Hi Robin,
I have always had this issue. fortunately I have short documents to deal
with. I go to View then go to page and put the page number in or use the
numpad mouse to find the current page, click on it and put the next page
I want.
I'm wondering if there are some settings that need to be changed like
maybe turning on scrolling or multipage view?
Hopefully someone will be more helpful than I have been.

really thought that keystroke you referenced below used to work, but
it's not working now.

Subject: PDF question
Please remind me, because I'm driving myself crazy with reading a
multi-page document in Adobe. I have Adobe set for single page
display. If I am reading a page and want to move to the next page, I
can hit alt right arrow or the page down and I can tell it's visually
changing on the screen, but Window Eyes 9.4 is not advancing where
speech focus is located. What is the trick?
