BJ,

Wow, I put this message aside until I could go to the Outlook calendar and
check the options and then completely forgot about it. I apologize for
that.

Unfortunately, some behaviors of Outlook vary from version to version, but
she should try the following.

Go to the Calendar folder. I press ALT-Y, arrow to calendar and press
ENTER.

Then bring up the "View" tab on the ribbon. I press ALT-V, but I believe
this did not work for a while. Usually, one can also press the ALT key to
bring up the ribbon and press the RIGHT ARROW until one hears "View."

Then press TAB to Arrange By and press ENTER. There will be a number of
buttons for different slices of time such as "Day", "Week", "Work Week", and
"Month." Even those these may be announced as buttons, the view that is
currently chosen will say "Checked" with the corresponding button. TAB to
"Month" and press ENTER and see if that changes the view back to what she
wants.

I hope this helps and that it gets her close enough to get it working as she
would like.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

Hi Steve,

I am writing to you direct but it is a w.e and outlook question. My friend
somehow altered the view of her outlook calendar. . I helped her change the
view to normal and she is happy with that. This one I would imagine is
simple but I don't use outlook. This is her problem

The calendar under number two key, however is a strange new one that says
every half hour times for every day. What I had before was just a layout
similar to a regular sighted calendar where the days were in a horizontal
row and you could arrow around and find out if the 4th of March was on which

day of the week. I think she wants the calendar to be viewd as the type on
the little tags on those old fashioned picture cards. I don't know which
version of outlook she has but it definitly uses the ribbon andnot menu's.

Have you any idea how to change the calendar view to the type of view she
wants? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Live long and prosper, John
