I've been a WE user since version 4.11 and I am sure there was not two version since that version. That was one of their selling points. One thing some people may have forgotten or were not on board with WE early enough was thay they also charged extra for pro versions of Window-Eyes. It seems to me that it was at least $100 more than the standard version because I did not have pro and a friend did. When the time came that I needed pro, I did have to find the money to do so. The difference between the two companies is that all upgrades cost the same for WE and JFW charges more for the pro version upgrades.
