If the name is still in Arabic, but Arabic written with the Latin alphabet, then name:ar@Latin would be correct. (There may be some more precise specification of exactly which romanization scheme you use - see the 120 different Latin spellings of 'Gadaffi' - but just ar@Latin would probably be enough.)
