Hi Bernard, To be honest, I have seen so many many many posting from you about WIFI and router. Even in phones which others have no problem when they using the same model.
Furthermore, at times, this is discussed on locked phones and not related to many all over the world. I have had so many friends using E72 and N86 and they have no such issues. Perhaps, it could arise cause you made things to complicated yourself, from the phone as well as router setting. To make it worst, the whole thread, seems like a swing, just swing left, right left right left right left right and no ends. Suggestions after suggestions and it goes on and on. Just like a child counting from 1 to ten but cannot count it continuously and make it right. Start with 1, then Skipping and reach 10, leave out some numbers, so go back and try again and again. All the best! and I hope you will solve it in good time man. If it's me, I will bring to Nokia and demand them to solve it, nothing less then that. Then I will come back to this group and share that it has been solved. Only then will I give the tips how to do it. It's sure right, a phone with wifi but cannot be used is considered faulty. If you were having the same problems I'm certain you would think differently. One day you might so you may want to remember some of the points as I never thought I would need help with an issue like this. With out net access via wlan it makes the phone either very expensive or next to useless as you can't use skype or email or even the software updater. it cuts it down to a phone, address book and Calender . When I raise an issue I'm not only seeking to solve my own problem but also aiming to help others who might find they have a similar problem in the future.
