I'm not in favor of the bailouts but it would have been better to put a
portion of it in the hands of the people rather than big business. Even not
having as large a tax burden would help me out.

Man, I might even be able to get a new mandolin or a high quality octave if
I had a million dollar check.

But, I aint gettin' a dime

Denny

Dang Denny, would you be my manager/agent? Har! We'll talk about this

some more. Don't forget brother Rich.

As for he bailout, an Australian acquaintance told me the other day

that the US gov-a-mint should've just given everybody in the country

(300 million) a million dollars instead of spending 300 billion on car

company bailout. Or just buy everybody a new car. Either way, it

would've been cheaper. Don't you think having a million dollars would

"stimulate" your economy? Sure would mine!

to

play drums in a band and he liked it when I sang blues songs.

Amarillo, or even at South Plains in Levelland with Joe Carr, I would do

whatever I could to make it work. I would go to every festival I could in
the

area to pass out flyers. I would contact all the music organizations and all
the

college music departments. I would contact as many school music teachers and

more. There are some good facilities for something right here in Snyder. We
have

a large gym and stands which they call the collosium because of the college

basketball teams. The area has many other support buildings and halls for

displays and more which are used for livestock shows, rodeos, a huge western

swing festival every summer (I mean huge), and much more.

It would be great to hear Grisman, Mike Marshall, Mike Compton, DelGrosso,
Evan

Marshall, Tim Obrien, and more. Classical, blues, rock, bluegrass, celtic,
and

more in one weekend mini festival. To me, that sounds like one great
weekend.
