I've been asked by Ken Cartwright to make a video showing the Bluegrass Box and my doublestop box. I got the Bluegrass Box from an old fiddle video, I don't remember who it was on the video or anything else about it but that part has stayed with me. I developed the doublestop box to teach my students all the doublestops in one handful. After studying it for a while turns out that is kind of how I play. Who'd a guessed? It's pretty simple and much like old time music it sounds better than it is, or is it better than it sounds, I forget. I'm leaving town to play at a festival in Longbeach, Washington this weekend, I'll try to get the video done next week.
