I stopped playing mandolin completely to try to get halfway decent on
the fiddle. It is a long struggle, but a very fun instrument.
I always suggest folks get help from a good fiddle (not violin)
teacher in the beginning until you have decent control. If I had, it
would have speed up the process a number of years!
