Okay, so I'm not really lazy, I have a hard job averaging 18,600 step a day (says my pedometer) up and down stairs 20 to 30 times a day, matching wits with 1,163 middle school kids, so I'm tired when I get home. I don't practice, I just sit on my couch and noodle or sometimes my wife and I will duet with her on the fiddle. Lucky for me, she learns new tunes now and then and I get them as a by-product of her work. I also have 6 students, 4 guitar and 2 mandolin, so I learn from my students by accident too. Two of my students are better than me, so I have to work to stay a day ahead of them, and I'm damn sure not going to tell them, I need the money. I'm retiring in a year and a half, maybe I can practice then.
Interesting side note, (to me anyway) is that while I require my students to practice scales and arpegios (sic) I never do. I'm even kind of mean about it. ????
