I coached football and wrestling for 25 years, not so sure I can coach todays kids, they are different. I have kid students but they are motivated and mom and dad are paying $30 a week, so they practice. Maybe I should practice? Naw. I don't have time.
I keep buying metronomes, hoping to find one that can keep time, no luck yet. My tech assistant at school coaches basketball. He gave me this quote from Bobby Knight the other day that could easily be adapted to playing music. "The will to prepare to win is more important than the will to win." I've been spending time with the metronome again lately while working on some tunes on the octave mandolin. That metronome can't keep time worth a damn. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Taterbugmando" group.
